One New Aftermarket Replacement Freeze Plug (Core Plug) Fits Massey Ferguson, Perkins, Leyland, Fits Allis Chalmers, Landini, and Fits JCB Equipment
This mild steel cup-type core plug (also known as a freeze plug, expansion plug, or Welch plug) seals the sand casting holes in the engine block and cylinder head coolant passages on a wide range of Perkins-powered agricultural tractors, backhoes, and industrial engines. Over time, core plugs can corrode and develop coolant leaks — this aftermarket replacement restores a leak-free seal to the engine cooling system.
