When you’ve got a split or damaged section in your fuel line, coolant hose, or other fluid lines, you don’t always need to replace the whole thing. This brass hose mender lets you cut out the bad section and splice the good ends back together—saving you time, money, and a trip to town for a whole new hose.
What You’re Getting
- Solid brass construction that won’t corrode or crack like plastic fittings
- Dual hose barbs grip your 5/16 inch hose securely on both ends
- Works with fuel lines, coolant hoses, hydraulic return lines, and other low-pressure applications
- Much stronger and more reliable than temporary tape or clamp repairs
Built for Real Farm Work
This mender handles the 5/16 inch lines you’ll find on tractors, combines, balers, and other farm equipment. It’s perfect for fuel lines, coolant hoses, vacuum lines, and hydraulic return lines where you need a permanent fix that won’t let you down during harvest or planting season.
Made to Last
Brass doesn’t rust, crack in the cold, or get brittle from exposure to fuel and chemicals like plastic fittings do. The barbed ends bite into your hose and hold tight, even with vibration and temperature changes that would loosen other repairs.
Installation Notes
Cut out the damaged section cleanly with a sharp knife, then push each hose end over the barbs until they’re fully seated. A little soapy water on the barbs makes installation easier. For fuel lines under pressure, add hose clamps on each end for extra security.
