If you’ve been running your vertical tillage equipment hard through corn stalks and tough residue, you know when it’s time for new blades. Dull or worn blades don’t size residue properly, leave streaks in the field, and make your tractor work harder than it needs to. This 22-inch vertical till blade cuts clean and sizes residue just right, so you can get the seedbed prep you’re after without making extra passes.
What You’re Getting
- Made from Boron 15B26 steel with 46-52 Rockwell hardness—tough enough to hold an edge through acres of heavy residue
- 1/4-inch thickness (6.5mm) gives you the right balance of durability and cutting performance
- Shallow concavity design moves residue properly without plugging or leaving streaks
- Combo hole design fits both square and round axles for versatile mounting options
- Direct replacement for Great Plains 820-430C—no modifications needed
Built for Real Farm Work
This blade is designed for vertical tillage operations where you need to size crop residue, incorporate nutrients, and prepare a smooth seedbed. Whether you’re working through heavy corn stalks, managing cover crops, or doing light tillage ahead of planting, this blade handles the job without the aggressive soil mixing of traditional disc harrows.
Made to Last
The Boron steel construction means this blade stays sharp longer and resists chipping when you hit that inevitable field stone or piece of iron. The 46-52 Rockwell hardness range is hard enough to hold an edge through acres of tough tillage, but not so brittle it shatters when you clip that hidden field stone.
Good to Know
When installing, make sure your axle matches the 1-1/2 inch square by 1-3/4 inch round combo hole. Check your other blades while you’re at it—running a mix of sharp and dull blades creates uneven tillage and can cause plugging issues.
