This cup-type freeze plug (also known as an expansion plug or core plug) seals the engine block cooling passages on a wide range of Perkins-powered tractors and equipment. Pressed into the block bore, it protects against coolant leaks and acts as a pressure-relief point to help prevent block cracking. Manufactured from mild steel to OEM dimensions.
